Hoisin Pulled Chicken Pizza

This pizza is perfect for adventurous food lovers – it’s a delicious way to enjoy the bold and diverse flavors of Asian cuisine in a beloved classic format. A perfect fusion of bold sweet and savoury flavours in every bite!
Ingredients
- 1 Jus-Rol Classic Pizza Base (tomato sauce included)
Chicken Breast
- 1 Chicken Breast
- 1 Chicken Stock Cube
- 1 Garlic Clove
Hoisin Marinade for Pulled Chicken
- 60ml store-bought hoisin sauce
- 15ml soy sauce
- 15ml rice vinegar
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Water (if needed to thin the marinade)
Toppings
- 1 ball of mozzarella
- ½ cucumber
- 2 spring onions
- Small bunch coriander
- Drizzle hoisin sauce
Equipment required
- Baking tray
- Baking paper
- Small saucepan
- Chopping board
- Sharp knife
- Vegetable peeler
- Mixing bowl
- Spoon
- 2 forks
Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C (Fan assisted 180°C).
- Make 500ml chicken stock and add to a small saucepan with 1 minced garlic clove and the chicken breast. Simmer for around 15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked.
- Meanwhile, make the hoisin marinade by adding the following ingredients in a large bowl and mixing well: 60ml store-bought hoisin sauce, 15ml soy sauce, 15ml rice vinegar, 1 tsp honey, and 1 tsp sesame oil. If you need to make your marinade a bit runnier than add water a tsp at a time until your desired consistency.
- Once chicken is cooked, remove from the saucepan and shred using 2 forks. Then coat the shredded chicken in the marinade.
- Whilst the chicken is marinating, unroll the dough and place it on a tray lined with non-stick baking paper.
- Open the tomato sauce jar and spread the sauce uniformly over the dough.
- Tear up your mozzarella ball into small pieces and spread evenly across the dough, along with the marinated chicken.
- Place the tray on the middle shelf of the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Whilst the pizza is cooking, make your cucumber slivers by using a vegetable peeler to carefully slice the cucumber lengthways into long, thin ribbons.
- Slice your spring onions and pull off some coriander leaves for the garnish.
- Once the pizza is cooked, remove it from the oven and add your spring onion, cucumber slivers and coriander.
- Finish with a drizzle of hoisin sauce and serve immediately!
